Dealer Notes

This 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 is offered to you for sale by Greenbrier Ford. When GMC created this vehicle with 4 wheel drive, they immediately enhanced the performance ability. Easily switch between two and four wheel drive to take advantage of the improved steering and superior acceleration. This extraordinary find is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone who understands automotive magic. The GMC Sierra 1500 will provide you with everything you have always wanted in a car -- Quality, Reliability, and Character. More information about the 2014 GMC Sierra 1500: The redesigned 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup comprises a set of pickups aimed at a wide range of uses from personal transportation to purpose-built tow rigs, farm or ranch haulers, or off-road machines. With three cab styles, two bed lengths, three engines, 2WD and 4WD versions and various trim levels from spartan to lavish, the Sierra lineup offers something for all. Top-of-the-line Denali models remain the choice of more discerning (and affluent) truck shoppers, with luxurious interiors and the full set of features of a premium SUV. The Sierra is significantly quieter than last year's models, as well as most other trucks in its class, thanks to a host of new sound-deadening additions like triple-sealed doors and new aerodynamic measures. The Sierra's engines are stronger yet more fuel-efficient than before, while also more refined. GM boasts that models with the V6 have towing ratings of up to 7,600 pounds, which is hundreds of pounds more than a comparable Ford F-150 or Ram 1500. Also, the Silverado 1500 might have some of the lowest maintenance costs among pickups because of its 4-wheel disc brakes with Duralife rotors, which GM claims will last twice as long as conventional brake rotors. This model sets itself apart with Strong, efficient engines, quiet, stylish cabins, innovative cargo solutions, and upgraded connectivity and entertainment systems For more information or to schedule a test drive, please contact our CLIENT CARE CENTER at (304) 645-2244 or by email at CLIENTCARE@GREENBRIERAUTOMOTIVE.COM. • A few weeks later and I love my first truck

Got a used 2015 SLE 4x4 from carmax and I am loving it so far. Although, I can't speak to the reliability and cost of owning it at the moment, it has been great so far and I love how it turns some heads as I am driving it. Blacked out the tail lights, rims, and badges and it looks great. The interior is wonderful and the radio and infotainment system work well. Very comfortable ride and not too loud. My only regret is getting a V6 as it seems under powered and doesn't go up hills well; especially when towing my boat. After reading many reviews, it seems as if the 5.3 V8 would have been a much better option and gas mileage is not much worse. However, nobody on the road is expecting the big red truck in front of them to accelerate like a Corvette.

I have had truck a little over a year now 12k when I bought it and 33k now owned GM products all my life. some of the issues I have had is the 6-speed transmission shifting from 1st slamming into 2nd, and when pulling out into traffic on a rolling stop it will hesitate and drop two gears rev up RPM and slam into 2nd, had into dealership twice they said that they are all like that, and that the computer has to learn my type of driving. Truck is very sluggish from dead stop and passing on highway. also can hardly see out of back camera (blurry). Every time it rains a stream of water runs out where driver visor hooks to headliner. have to run with bright lights on at night most of the time because of poor visibility on low beam.
  • Traded my F150, loving my Sierra

I traded my 2015 F150 XLT 2.7 ecoboost for a 2017 Sierra SLE kodiac with 5.3 V8. I purchased a new camper and wanted 9000 pounds plus towing capability. I really enjoyed my F150 and if I had bought 3.5 ecoboost 2 years ago, I wouldnt have been shopping. I tested a Ram outdoorsman, XLT sport and Sierra SLE kodiack. They are all nice trucks, but for me it was either the F150 or Sierra. I choose the Sierra because I preferred the handling and road feel. The Sierra sits a little lower and it makes the truck bed easier to use. I love the steps in the bumper and we load bikes and camping gear easier than in my F150. The interior in the Sierra is great, soft touch materials and super comfy. I prefer the gmc intilink system to the ford sync system. I also think the Sierra is the best looking half ton truck, love the grill and C shape LED running lights. I do miss the combination lock on my ford, I used it all the time. The ford was also quicker around town. It was a great truck, but Im loving my new Sierra.
